The Story of The Ghosts Are Coming
In my travels, I hear tale of an activity it is best to avoid doing at night espesially on a full moon or Halloween...
And you really want to avoid doing it if it is a full monn on Hallolween. And what is this thing one should not do? "Do not whistle at night...
Else a ghost may follow you home or worse..."
There was a little boy who did not believe in this old tale and he bragged and boasted on the things he'd do if he were to encounter a ghost.
So sure enough Halloween came and it was a full moon. As the boy was walking home after a successful night of trick-or-treating,
he started whistling as loud as he could. His friends did not want anyting to do with that so they left him alone to whistle by himself. He wihistled and mockingly dared any ghost to come out.
He sat under a tree and whistle and whistled... Suddenly the tree shook. The boy thought it must be the wind, but he did not feel a breeze.
The boy whistle one more time and he heard his melody whistled back to him and the tree shook again. This time the hairs on the boys head stood up and he stopped whilstling but he continued to hear his melody being whistled back to him.
He called out his friend's name from school and shouted, "Sam, Billy, stop playing around!"
But there was no response. The boy started quickly walking home then he felt a tug on his arm as the whistling grew louder. He looked back and sure enough it was a ghost pulling him toward a wierd house with the number 13 on the porch. The boy knew it was not good.
He threw his cany to the ghost and shouted "Take the candy! We are even!" The ghost let go for a second but grabbed his shirt.
The boy peeled of his shirt and started running like the wind to his house. The ghost gave chase and caught his foot. The boy instantly peeled of his shoe and kept on running without missing a beat.
Before the boy knew it he was at his front porch banging on the door, panting and out of breath.
His mom opened the door and asked him what was he doing with one shoe and what happened to his shirt and what about his candy.
When he started to tell about the whistling and the ghost his mom scolded him saying there were no ghosts and he should not have left his friends.
The boy wanted to sleep with his parents but they insisted he go to his room. As the boy lay in bed, he heard the whistling again and he was frozen in fear as his windows began to rattle he suddenly remember
the story I am telling you right now and what to do to only work once... He got the white sheet and pretended to also be a ghost who was looking for the boy that was whistling at knight.
The real ghost confronted him and said I don't remember you... What's your name? The boy said, "I'm new to this area and I was looking for whistling kids. I wanted to help you catch them this Halloween night."
The real ghost said, "Well then mate let's sing our song..." The boy knew what to sing and he dared not to miss a word or else he'd be discovered as an imposter. They creepily sung together the song you just downloaded:
The ghosts are coming. You'd better beware.
The ghosts are coming. They'll give you a scare.
You can scream. You can cry. You can try to hide.
But we're still going to catch you and drag you inside
Of the haunted house on 13th street
When you whistle at night... You just might meet us...
The real ghost said,"Well sung mate, now let's float away and find some whistling kids."
The boy could not float so he responded, "I want to have one more look around here. I'll catch up later."
The real ghost looked back and nodded.
And so the story ends.
